UDI Industry Calendar

Here are upcoming events of interest to UDI members:

24th Annual UDI - Calgary Golf Tournament - July 16, 2009

This year's tournament will be held at the Heritage Pointe Golf Club on July 16, 2009. Registration for this event will open on Tuesday, June 16th at 12:00 p.m. Registration is on a first come first served basis. There will be a maximum of 8 golfers per company allowed. This event is open to UDI-Calgary members only. We will be holding our Charity Tool Drive for Habitat for Humanity during the golf tournament. We encourage all golfers to bring a new or used hand tool or power tool to help us fill the truck.

The tournament timeline is as follows:
7:30 a.m. - Breakfast and Registration
8:30 a.m. - Shotgun start and Golf Academy Start
2:30 p.m. - Banquet and Program

As an alternative to playing in the tournament, the Golf Academy will be offered again this year. The Golf Academy is for any player who may wish to take advantage of lessons with a golf pro. Small groups will be formed based on the level of play (beginner, intermediate, advanced). Registration for the Academy includes breakfast and 4.5 hours of quality instruction. After the instruction, players rejoin the rest of the group for the banquet, program, prizes, etc. The instruction facilities include the driving range, a short game area with a practice green, bunkers and a full-scale 3 hole course called "The Loop". For those who are just learning to golf, or would like a relaxing day improving their game, we hope that you'll take advantage of this unique opportunity!
